Engineering Building Closed for Renovation, July 2015 to Fall 2016

Beginning mid-July the Engineering Building will be closed for renovation. The work is expected to take approximately 1 year, with the building intended to return to service Fall 2016.

The building closure will impact pedestrian flow between east and west campus. The atrium of the Engineering Building will be inaccessible. This will effectively remove the UAA Drive crosswalk as an option for east-west campus flow. The spine will remain open and people must utilize the stairwell and elevator in the spine to cross UAA Drive. Ample signage will be placed in the area to direct people.

Additional details will be posted as we near the closure.

All lanes will be reopened to traffic once work is complete (Monday morning at the latest). In the meantime, traffic will be detoured along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
