Beginning as early as Friday, September 16th, Municipal Light & Power will be conducting work along the north side of Providence Drive between UAA Drive and Elmore Road. This is emergency work to replace main feeder cables that supply portions of the UAA, PAMC, and APU campuses.
Please be aware of traffic restrictions in this area over the next several weeks.

EIB Sidewalk and Lot Closure
Contractors will be working on a pedestrian fence along a portion of the EIB/South lot boundary. To facilitate this work a portion of the adjacent South Parking Lot and surrounding sidewalks will be closed from Friday (9/9) to Tuesday (9/13) Morning (7-10am).

Engineering Parking Garage is Open
The Engineering Parking Garage is open and available for parking. The top level is currently closed. No special permit is required. The garage can be accessed via a new service road off of Mallard Lane. The garage is connected to the Engineering & Computational Building by a skybridge, allowing for easy access to the campus spine network. A new shuttle stop is also located outside the garage.

Water Outage for ECB, August 26th
On Friday, August 26th from approximately 8:00 am to 11:00 am the water to the Engineering & Computational Building (formerly the Engineering Building) will be offline as crews address an issue with the water meter. Restroom facilities in the Natural Sciences Building will be available for building occupants.

High Voltage Switchgear Testing, August 8th
On August 8th from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm we will be conducting preventative maintenance work on the High Voltage Switchgear A that provides electricity to several central and east campus facilities. We do not expect power outages as a result of this work; however, brief outages have occurred in the past from this work. UAA electricians will be standing by to respond if this occurs.

Parking Lot Work to Begin July 27, 2016
Please be aware of intermittent parking lot closures over the coming weeks beginning July 27, 2016 due to painting and line striping in all lots across campus. Work to be performed is weather dependent and will be completed in the evening hours as much as possible, though some lots may be impacted during business hours. This work may also require that parking garages are closed intermittently to refresh paint and perform routine annual maintenance.

Partial Closure of Alumni Drive, Starting July 25
Starting Monday, July 25th, the east-bound lane of Alumni Drive near East Campus Central Lot will be temporarily closed. This closure is part of an effort to locate a leak in the local water main. This closure is expected to last several days.
Traffic will be managed via flaggers while active excavation occurs and an automatic red/green light control will be utilized when crews are not present.

Excavation Work in East Campus Centra Lot, Beginning 7/18
Minor excavation work in East Campus Central Lot will begin on Monday, July 18th. This work will consume approximately 8 spaces. Contractors and equipment may operate outside of the boundaries, so please be aware.
This work is to follow up on last week's investigation into a potential water main leak. No disruption to building water service is expected at this time.

PSB Power Outage Scheduled for July 15th
The Professional Studies Building will experience a 24-hour power shutoff beginning 6:00 pm Friday, July 15th and last until 6:00 pm Saturday, July 16th. This outage is necessary to accomplish work related to the Pharmacy program renovation within PSB.
