From Thursday, September 24th to Sunday, September 27th the boilers that heat the ConocoPhillips Integrated Sciences Building will be offline for repair. Facilities personnel have reviewed the weather forecast and determined that it is safe to proceed with repairs to piping. Outdoor temperatures will make the building cold, but should not cause any freezing.
Building fans will be managed in a way to retain as much heat as possible; however, labs require several air changes per hour. Electric heaters will be used in critical areas where electrical circuits allow.
This activity will impact the comfort of building occupants. We strongly encourage students, faculty, and staff in the CPISB to dress warmly.
We apologize for any inconvenience. These repairs must be completed before winter.
